About Event

November's ASGA webinar features a double header with updates on advanced agrivoltaics research and on the landscape of solar grazing in Wisconsin.

First up, we'll hear from Josh Arnold from the University of Wisconsin who will give us an overview of their Badgervoltaics research projects. Josh's presentation will provide a window into an agrivoltaics research agenda for Wisconsin and what the future of agrivoltaics in the state could look like.

After Josh's presentation, we'll shift gears to examine what's happening with solar sheep grazing in Wisconsin, which will have wider implications for the Midwest and beyond. Solar grazier Beau Stafford, Madison Gas & Electric's John Armstrong, and Nolan Stumpf from OneEnergy will discuss the opportunities and challenges for solar grazing in the state. John and Nolan will talk about the current state of solar grazing within the wider context of solar development in Wisconsin. Then we'll hear about Beau's solar grazing operation and the solar sites he manages vegetation on. Expect to hear case studies on how solar grazing has been successfully implemented in the state as well as insights into the opportunities for future growth.
