Join the London Irish Business Society at Century Club for a special live conversation between Ed Guiney and Paul McNamee

Ed Guiney is Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Element Pictures and oversees the development and production of Element Pictures film and television slate.

Recent film productions include Yorgos Lanthimos’ BUGONIA, starring Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons and two debuts which premiered at Cannes 2025: Akinola Davies Jnr’s MY FATHER’S SHADOW, the first Nigerian film in Official Selection which was awarded a Special Mention for the Camera d’Or and won the Best Debut at the BAFTAs and Harry Lighton’s PILLION which won Best Screenplay in Un Certain Regard.

Previous film productions include all of Yorgos Lanthimos’ English language films, most notably POOR THINGS and THE FAVOURITE and all of Lenny Abrahamson’s films including ROOM as well as films by Joanna Hogg, Rungano Nyoni, Sean Durki

Television credits include the adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel, the BAFTA winning NORMAL PEOPLE.

Ed has been nominated for four Academy Awards for Best Picture and has won two BAFTAS and a Golden Globe. He also co-owns the LightHouse Cinema in Dublin, Ireland’s premier art house cinema. In May 2022, Fremantle acquired a majority stake in Element Pictures.

The evening begins with complimentary drinks, followed by a live, unscripted conversation hosted by Paul McNamee Networking will continue on the rooftop terrace, the largest rooftop in Soho, with panoramic views across the West End.
