Foto Walk 2026 - Charleston, SC

​Join us on a photo walk, hosted by your local Foto community host, KELA. We meet, connect, walk, share ideas & inspiration, take photos together, no likes or followers involved.

​WHAT TO EXPECT

​You'll spend about two hours walking through the city with other local photographers from the Foto community. Along the way, you will capture street or nature images, take portraits of each other, connect with people who notice the same light you do and learn about each other’s style.

This year's theme is CONTRAST. Light against shadow, old against new, whatever catches your eye and won't let it go. Lean in to noticing the finer details, things we walk by everyday.

​The walk ends on East Montague, where food and beverages are abundant. No experience needed. Bring any camera you own: film, digital, and phone are all acceptable.

​THE DETAILS

• ​Duration: ~2 hours

• ​Needs: Comfortable shoes to walk in, come in your own style if you would like to be captured by other photographers, bring your camera to take photos, water for hydration, and a card or cash for food or drinks at the end of the walk

• ​Cost: Free
