Curious Women in AI
Have you ever felt like you’re figuring out AI on your own, not quite sure if you’re doing it right? Or found yourself wishing there was somewhere to work through the challenges with people who genuinely understand? Or, like me, found that learning about AI on your own can feel lonely at times?
You’re not alone. And you don’t have to be.
Curious Women in AI is a relaxed monthly evening in Clapham Junction for women who want to figure out AI together.
You might be using AI every day, just starting to experiment, or wondering where it could help at work or at home. Perhaps it’s saving you time in some places, and not in others. Or you’ve spent half an hour arguing with a chatbot about what to have for dinner.
Whatever your starting point, you’re welcome.
What to expect on the night
Each evening is lightly structured to help everyone settle in and get talking. Everyone has opportunities to be heard, share experiences and ask questions.
We share what’s working, what hasn’t quite gone to plan, and the questions we’re still figuring out. Sometimes that includes a little rant about “why does it do that?!”
You’re equally welcome to listen and learn. No technical background is required, and there’s no expectation that you’ll arrive with all the answers.
Leave with practical ideas or different perspectives to consider. There’s also time to chat and connect.

Why I started this
Being part of a women in AI community in the US has shown me what’s possible when women learn together.
I wanted to bring that same energy to London, in person. Somewhere to celebrate what’s working, get support with what isn’t and build connections along the way.
And honestly, I wanted to build a community I can learn from too. Figuring things out together feels better than doing it alone.

I’d love to see you there.
