About Event

In 2041, there is a child nobody claims. Not lost exactly. Left. Waiting at the edge of the story for someone to come back for them.

Here is the twist. The orphan is not a stranger. It is a part of you that got left behind somewhere along the way, the version of you that was too much, or too loud, or too tender, and learned to wait quietly offstage. This mission, the crew goes back for them. Together. Because the strange thing about orphaned parts is that you can almost never go get your own. But you can go get someone else's, and they can go get yours, and somehow that works.

That is the game. A rescue party for the parts everyone left behind.

This is a live game, not a workshop, and it is more fun than it sounds. We gather on Zoom, around a virtual fire, and play it out together, in character, out loud. You get cast, sometimes in the part you would not have picked, because that is where it gets good. You do not have to be an actor. You do not have to believe in anything. Camera on or off, your call. You just step in and play.

Nobody explains the meaning at you. You feel it by playing it, and you leave a little more whole than you came, having gone on a rescue mission for something you did not know you missed.

The technique is on loan from the Blind Seers of 2041, who will use story to bend what was real. You do not need to know their world to use their tools.

Ninety minutes. Seventeen dollars. One crew, one rescue. Come see who we bring home.
