​What is Silent Book Club?

​A free BYOB (Bring Your Own Book) gathering for readers in Kennett Square and nearby areas.

​Bring along your current read, e-book, audiobook, or any beloved page-turner, settle into a calm shared space, and connect with fellow book lovers. Quiet, screen-free joy is the goal. Silent crafting is also warmly welcomed, so feel free to bring your knitting, sketchbook, journal, writing project, or coloring supplies. Come read, create, and make a few bookish friends along the way!

​1:00 pm: Sign in, get settled, shop around

​1:30-2:30 pm: Silent reading hour

​2:30-3:00 pm: Optional socialization time/shop Rooted with your discount

​What do I need to know?

• ​This event will be held inside the greenhouse. Please dress accordingly.

• ​There will be seating but feel free to bring a camp or outdoor chair if you would be more comfortable.

• ​While this event is free, we encourage all participants to patronize Rooted and enjoy 10% off any purchase that day in store! There will be time before and after the silent reading hour to socialize and shop if you'd like.
