National Forest Bathing Day
🌿 Forest Bathing Walk on Canada's National Forest Bathing Day
Slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with nature on Canada's National Forest Bathing Day.
Forest therapy or forest bathing, also known in Japanese as Shinrin-yoku, isn't a hike with a destination. It's a gentle, guided immersion in the sights, sounds, and sensations of the forest. Science backs what nature already knows: time spent mindfully in the trees can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and restore a sense of calm.
Join us for a guided walk where you'll be led through simple sensory practices to help you fully arrive in the present moment. No experience necessary, just a willingness to slow down.
What to expect:
A relaxed, unhurried pace (this is not a fitness walk!)
Gentle invitations to pause, notice, and breathe
A welcoming space for all ages and abilities
Come as you are. Leave feeling restored. 🍃
All proceeds to be donated to CMHA for Mental Health week
