​The International Day of the Girl Child is recognized globally to highlight and address the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. In 2025, our theme – 'The Girl I Am, The Change I Lead - Girls on the Frontlines of Crisis' – underscores the resilience, leadership, and impact that girls bring, especially in times of crisis.
