About Event
What can parents and caregivers learn from an ecosystem regrowing after a disastrous wildfire? If capitalism treats disaster as a profit opportunity, what other systems of response can we learn from? In this Bob Ross and "paint & sip” inspired workshop, you will be guided through drawing a redwood forest regrowth after fire. We will discuss learnings and applications to our own experiences as parents/caregivers. No drawing experience needed – we’ve got you covered!
This is a one-off workshop from the ongoing Parents Against the Future project, a regular gathering space for parents/caregivers to address grief and the future amidst the many intersecting crises of these times.
Led by Evan Bissell and Alykhan Boolani.
