The AI Doc: Or How I Became An Apocaloptimist - Film Screening + Discussion

​The AI Doc documents the journey of Daniel Roher, a filmmaker with a child on the way, as he sets out to understand artificial intelligence and the future it may bring, both positive and negative. On his journey, he talks both with the people building it and the people warning about it.

​The film will be in English (subtitles TBD).

​Join us for this thought-provoking film that explores both the benefits and the risks of a technology that is advancing rapidly.

​After the film, stay for an open discussion about the film and the risks and benefits of AI. Experts in AI safety will be there to provide context and answer questions.

​The film screening will happen in the cinema on the 5th floor of CIC Berlin. Entry is from 18:30–19:00.

​If you arrive early, wait outside until one of our hosts arrives to let people in and direct you to the theater. Due to the logistics of the event, we cannot accept latecomers.
