Our Host:
Katrina Nzegwu, Assistant Curator of International Art at Tate Modern, discusses economies of scale within curation - from project spaces and non-profits, to national institutions.
This session will explore different approaches to artistic display, dismantling the notion of the White Cube by looking to modes of (re)presentation across the arts. The series of close readings from Katrina's 'curational bibles' will be followed by a collage and writing section, offering space to creatively unpack some of the themes and ideas explored, and craft one's own curatorial manifesto.
Pulsar:
Pulsar is a learning space for young people across creative disciplines. We host participatory workshops designed to leave you with something tangible: a skill, a method, or a new way of thinking you can carry into your personal or professional practice.
