Rethinking Fundraising in the Baltic Region
Join us for an interactive pre-TechChill session exploring modern fundraising and private market development in the Baltic region. As global competition for capital grows, Baltic funds need sharper strategies, stronger positioning, and globally competitive investment teams.
We’ll dive into capital raising strategies, portfolio structuring, the competitiveness of the Baltic investment ecosystem, and the evolving skill set required for today’s investors. Expect practical insights, international perspectives, and open discussion around the real challenges investors and fund managers face when building and scaling investment funds.
The format is highly interactive and discussion-driven — designed for participants to ask questions, share experiences, and exchange ideas they can apply directly in their own funds and investment activities.
Lead by Mārtiņš Mellēns.
Taking place right before TechChill in Riga, the event will bring together ~50 participants, including fund managers (GPs), institutional and private investors (LPs), founders, ecosystem leaders, policymakers, and industry advisors already in town for the conference.
The goal: strengthen the global competitiveness of Baltic investment funds through practical knowledge, shared experience, and meaningful conversations within the region’s investment community.
📸Photos will be taken at the event and may be used for social media communication afterwards.
TechChill is an international event focused on the startup ecosystem and entrepreneurship, which will take place March 25 - 27.
