Workshop Wednesday: Claude Tools Show | Tell | Do
Workshop Wednesday: Claude Tools x Show & Tell x Do
Anthropic has been shipping like crazy in 2026 — Opus 4.7, the redesigned Claude Code, Claude Design, Routines, and Cowork. We're going hands-on with all of it. Whether you're a developer, a filmmaker, a designer, or just AI-curious, this workshop will get you fluent in the tools that have made Claude the most powerful creative collaborator in the room.
Bring your project. Leave with a working demo.
What we will cover:
Claude Code in 2026 (Terminal-native power, now redesigned): The CLI got serious — and just got a new GUI. We'll demo the redesigned Claude Code with multiple sessions side-by-side, integrated terminal, file editing, and HTML/PDF preview. Plus Computer Use (Claude clicking through GUIs from your terminal), Auto Mode (smart permission handling), Remote Control + Dispatch (kick off coding sessions from your phone), AutoDream (multi-step autonomous goals), and the new
/voice,/insights,/powerup, and/ultraplancommands.Claude Design (Prompt to prototype): Anthropic's new Labs product turns plain-English descriptions into polished designs, prototypes, slides, and one-pagers — powered by Opus 4.7. We'll go from idea to interactive prototype, apply a custom design system, and use the Claude Code handoff to push a prototype straight into shippable code. Exports to PDF, PPTX, HTML, and Canva.
Routines (Claude on a schedule): Anthropic's new research preview lets you package up Claude Code automations and set them to run on a schedule or trigger — without your laptop being online. They run on Claude Code's web infrastructure with access to your repos and connectors. We'll set up real routines: a daily content scraper, a scheduled GitHub workflow, and an API-triggered job that posts to your feed.
Cowork (Claude as your desktop agent): Cowork runs in an isolated VM on your Mac or Windows machine and gives Claude direct access to your files, MCP connectors, and apps. We'll demo it for non-coding workflows — research, content production pipelines, and creative project management — plus the new scheduled and recurring task feature.
Show & Tell — Websites Built by AI MAKERS: Members of the community will demo websites they've recently built using Claude Code — walking through what they shipped, the prompts and workflows that got them there, and the gotchas they hit along the way. Bring a site to show. If you've built something in the last few weeks, this is your stage.
What to bring:
Your laptop (fully charged). Mac or Windows both work — Cowork is now GA on both.
An active Claude account (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise — most of the new features require a paid plan; come early if you need to upgrade).
A real project, idea, or workflow you want to automate or prototype. (No project? Come on time and we'll help you scope something quick.)
Node.js installed if you want to play with Claude Code (
npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code).A small budget for any API token usage if you go heavy on Opus 4.7 during the session (usually under $10 for the workshop).

Get your hands dirty.
Come out to Film Bar AI on Tuesdays at Halidom Eatery in East Atlanta as a reason to get out of the house and be around other AI creatives. This Tuesday we'll all spend time prepping for the Wednesday Workshop — installing add-ins, setting up Claude Code, and lining up the projects we want to demo.
