About Event

AI Companionship: Intimacy, Ethics, and the Future of Connection is a public panel discussion running adjacent to EAST2046’s interactive exhibition at London Data Week. The event bridges technology, healthcare, and social science to explore how AI-driven companions and digital therapeutics are reshaping human relationships, mental health, and policy.

We invite tech innovators, AI researchers, healthcare professionals, ethicists, students, and members of the general public to join us for an exploration on the psychological and societal impacts of conversational AI.

This event is hosted by the Data Science Institute at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the King’s Institute for Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London.
