You are invited to a Garden Tour After Celebration!
On Sunday April 6th, the second and final day of the Theodore Payne Annual Native Plant Tour, our group has been invited to gather at the legendary hillside garden of Bruce Schwartz, Founder of LA Native Plant Source (https://lanativeplantsource.com)
Make this stunning garden (Garden #23) the final stop on the tour, and we will relive the highlights of the Garden Tour weekend over some delicious native sage tea. Bruce has promised to share a few pearls of wisdom gained over decades of native gardening — including a peek at his impressive propagation station and nursery (https://lanativeplantsource.com/).
There should be some tour tickets left at www.theodorepayne.org, but if they are sold out, please reach out to us via return email — we may be able to arrange some for you. Also, please contact us if you would like to carpool on the Saturday or the Sunday. Seeing the gardens is invaluable — a picture is truly worth a thousand words!
You’ll gain much inspiration and knowledge to bring back to our own neighborhood, to create a resilient future for our beloved Laurel Canyon!
See you at Bruce’s garden at 4pm on April 6th!
