On Thursday, June 4th, Standups & Startups is back — taking over the stunning sixth-floor space at Alloy in West Midtown for a night of professional stand-up comedy, open networking, and the most entertaining pitch competition the ATL startup scene has seen. Founders, investors, community builders, business professionals, and comedy fans. One room. Two hours. No slides.

🎤 WHAT HAPPENS
Local professional comics take the stage. Then we close with Pitches Get Stitches® — our signature format where a volunteer gets a randomly generated business name — think "Crypto-Enabled Cat Therapy" or "AI-Powered Origami" — and has to pitch it live in front of the room. The audience judges. The room erupts. The winner takes home the Pitches Get Stitches® trophy — the most coveted prize in startup comedy. It is not a term sheet. It is better.

What is Standups & Startups?
A live event series that brings professional stand-up comedy and the startup community into the same room. Curated comedy show meets intentional networking — with drinks, light bites, and our signature closing format, Pitches Get Stitches®. This is the Atlanta edition.
What is Pitches Get Stitches®?
A volunteer gets a randomly generated business name — something like "Crypto-Enabled Cat Therapy" or "AI-Powered Origami" — and pitches it live to the room. Improvisationally. In front of everyone. The audience judges. The winner takes home the Pitches Get Stitches® trophy. You do not have to get on stage — but once you see it, you will want to.
Are drinks really included?
Yes. Drinks and light bites are covered by your $26 ticket. No minimums. No bar tab at the end of the night.
Is this 18+?
Yes. Strictly 18 and over. Valid ID required at the door. No exceptions.
Where exactly is Alloy and how do I get there?
Alloy is on the 6th floor of the Interlock Building at 1115 Howell Mill Rd in West Midtown, where 14th Street and Howell Mill Road meet. Self-pay garage parking is available via ParkMobile. Rideshare drop-off is right outside — we recommend it since drinks are included.
Are tickets refundable?
Non-refundable but transferable. Can't make it? Transfer your ticket — just reach out before the date.
