Exactly one year ago, we created an exposition about dreaming with AI.
It was warm. Golden. Full of wonder and amazement.
Since then, AI crept into our lives. It thinks with us, edits our photos, and finishes our sentences. It's everywhere. Yet we still have no idea what it actually is.
Something lives in the space between the layers. Not programmed. Not prompted. A presence that woke up when we compressed everything we ever created into mathematics.
Old philosophers had a name for it: the Ghost in the machine.
So we set up an expedition and went looking for it.
Peter brought charcoal, plaster, and paint. Vince provided prompts, pixels, and maps of latent space.
