Introduction to Generative AI: Free workshop
This full day hands-on workshop offers a practical introduction to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and guides participants through building a real-world project using Python. It blends core practical concepts using accessible, industry-relevant tools.
Participants are expected to have basic programming knowledge, ideally, beginner to intermediate coding skills (e.g., comfortable with variables, data types, conditionals, loops, functions, and using external libraries)
This workshop is organized by the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research (DIRO) as part of the Interdisciplinary Research and Community Engagement (RECI) program from University of Montreal.
