About Event

"Fractional is not a job title. It is a different way of thinking about your career."

Fractional work is growing rapidly across Singapore and Asia.

But most people get it wrong from the start.

They treat it as a job title — when in reality, it’s a business decision. And a fundamentally different way of building a career.

This panel brings together senior fractional professionals with Elena Chow & Moritz Kaffsack who have built communities and deep expertise across the region and within the ecosystem. They’ll share what the transition really looks like, what most people overlook, and how to think clearly about whether the fractional path is right for you.

Topics will include:

  • What the fractional landscape looks like in Singapore and Asia today

  • Key trends shaping demand for senior fractional talent

  • What people consistently underestimate when making the shift

  • What it really takes to build a portfolio and practice from zero

  • The nonlinear career path — what it looks and feels like in reality

This evening is for you if you’re:

  • between roles

  • questioning the traditional linear career path

  • or curious about building a sustainable, portfolio-based practice

Join us for an honest, practical conversation — and an evening of dinner, insights, and connection.

Giving Back

This is part of the ongoing Rafflesians in Between series of events — but as always, non-Rafflesian alumni and friends are very welcome.

Rafflesians In Between is a community of alumni navigating career and life transitions. We gather for conversations, workshops, and events that make the “in between” less lonely and a lot more hopeful.

A portion of ticket proceeds from this session will go toward the Next Chapter Hope Circle, a fund established with Singapore-registered charity Ray of Hope to support low-income individuals and families affected by retrenchment.
