Grow Your Own Salad From Seed... and a Food Forest?

​Want to share your passion of growing your own food? Wondering what you can sow in August? Curious about having a food forest in the heart of Brussels?

Then join us at the Commons Hub, right next to Square de la Putterie, for two hours of sowing, imagining and meeting like-minded people!

What we'll do:

• ​Sow lettuce, basil and parsley and more in a dirt block or an egg carton, and take your green friends home to grow and eventually add to your salad 🥗

• ​Get into what a food forest actually is and why it might make sense in our city 🌳

• ​Work in small groups to sketch out what a citizen-run food forest in Square de la Putterie could look like 🎨

​We have the seeds and the soil, you have the passion and energy to give life to them! ✨✨

​Come with dirt under your nails already, or just the will to get some. All you need is curiosity, maybe a few thoughts about soil, climate or what a greener city could look like.
