Sidewalks Never Rest (Exhibition)

​Sidewalks Never Rest is a street photography exhibition shot on 35mm film across Saigon and Da Nang in 2025 by Jay Saya.

​Life happens wherever there’s space. Work, rest, sleep, movement — the street holds everything.

​Within the series sit two images shot by my father in 1993, a thread connecting past and present.

​The exhibition runs May 30–31 at BEAM Studios.

​On Saturday, drinks are available throughout the day as the space moves from ambient soundscapes into DJ sets.

​Presented as part of Asian Heritage Week 2026 programming through Platform Presents.
