Perth AI Builders Get Together
Perth AI Builders is a new community meetup focused on the practical side of AI, especially the fast-moving world of LLMs, agentic workflows, AI tooling and startup building.
In this session, Sam Reid, security expert at Atlassian, will use his AI hacker project to explore what it takes to turn your own domain expertise into an agent that can do real work - and even pay for itself.
This session is aimed at anyone working with AI, and anyone who wants to about how they can translate their own SME knowledge into capabilities an LLM can leverage.
Following the session, attendees will have the opportunity to share what they've been building, showcase projects, demonstrate tools, exchange ideas and learn from others experimenting with AI in the real world.
Whether you're deep into agentic coding workflows, exploring AI tools for your startup, or simply trying to understand where this technology is heading, this meetup is designed to be practical, accessible and community-led.
