About Event

AI is becoming an execution engine. The real differentiator is how humans define success, make trade-offs, and own outcomes.

As AI takes over more “doing” - from building products to conducting interviews - the hardest part doesn’t disappear. It shifts: judgment, decision-making, and accountability.

In this session, we’ll unpack why product thinking is quickly becoming a critical skill not just for product teams, but for Hiring and HR leaders who design hiring experiences, define quality-of-hire, and make high-stakes people decisions.

Using AI-assisted interviews and hiring workflows as a concrete example, we’ll show how core product principles apply beyond software - and how HR teams can adopt them to build better outcomes with AI.

What you’ll learn

  • Why AI changes the “work” - but not the responsibility for outcomes

  • The key product principles that translate directly to hiring and HR decisions

  • How to define “success” in AI-enabled hiring (beyond speed and automation)

  • Making smart trade-offs: fairness vs. velocity, consistency vs. flexibility, automation vs. oversight

  • What it means to operate AI: feedback loops, measurement, and continuous improvement

Who should attend

  • TA Leaders, Recruiters, Hiring Managers

  • HR People Ops Workforce Strategy leaders

  • HR Tech owners, Transformation leaders

  • Anyone exploring AI in hiring and wants a practical way to think about it
