The Great AI Bake Off

​Join us during Salt Lake Design Week for a fun, fast-paced, and collaborative evening where we experiment with today’s most popular AI design tools. Think of it as part design jam, part game show, and all play. We’ll split into small groups, each testing out a different AI tool. Everyone will start with the same design challenge—like creating a new to-do app—but with unique twists: surprise personas, random constraints, or even “Nailed It!”-style curveballs generated by AI itself. Each group will have a set time to create and share their results with the rest of the room, keeping things light, fast, and interactive. Awards may go to the most creative, most functional, or most aesthetically delightful results. Whether you’re curious about AI, excited to experiment, or just want to laugh at the wonderfully weird things these tools produce, this is a chance to explore together, learn through play, and see how AI can spark creativity in design.
