About Event

Join solo gamedev Caspar (building a multiplayer falling-sand-physics roguelite, Signs of Danger) as he showcases how he wrangled Aseprite into his custom Rust-based game engine to solve problems ranging from animation timing to level editing - thanks to Aseprite's open file format and simple plugin system. Caspar has been building Signs of Danger fulltime since the start of 2024 with partial funding from Screenwest and Screen Australia, and if time permits he is also happy to answer general questions and/or let attendees playtest the latest game build.

Location
The Carlisle Collective
134 Oats St, Carlisle WA 6101, Australia
We will be in RetroWorld. If you arrive after 3pm, go through to the back of the shed in the alleyway to the car park and enter by the door there.
