I wish home was more like work
Imagine work being the place where you can be yourself, fulfill your purpose and be powerful.
Imagine work being the place for authentic connection and care. Imagine saying, "I wish home was more like work".
Imagine not needing to imagine, since this is something that researchers have started to discover popping up all over the world.

People are becoming disillusioned with the traditional way of seeing organizations as machines, and humans as their replaceable parts. In its place, a new way of seeing organizations as living and breathing organisms is starting to emerge.
We are seeing organizations getting rid of budgets, targets and project managers, forgetting about job titles, hierarchies and company secrets, and replacing them with transparency, reflection, self-management, passion, purpose, and new radical practices that make you say "there's no way that would work in practice". We will learn how organizations are
letting all employees use company money as they wish
letting everyone just choose their wages without asking for permission
spending days in total silence to foster spiritual growth
sharing secrets and helping competitors develop
removing all decision-making power from the ceo and giving it to everyone else in the company
and most of all, being successful, beautiful, resilient and profitable, and scaling to thousands of employees
🍂
This session is especially for people interested in caring for communities and organizations with love, courage and passion. However, if for any reason at all this sparks your curiosity, you are welcome to join.

About the Speaker
The presentation will be given by Sävel, who just can't get enough of this stuff. They have a questionable variety of titles in their resume, working with traditional companies, non-profits, activist groups, experimental festivals, and artist collectives, having therefore seen countless ways we can work together.
Sävel is currently studying programming at Hive, learning to play the ocarina, and dreaming of creating the best time management app in the world.
