Panpsyche's Circle: For Songwriters, Poets & Auditory Creatives

Join Panpsyche (David K. S. Upadhya) for an intimate songwriting circle at Pluto - a gathering where songwriters can share works-in-progress, get feedback, and connect with fellow artists with the intention of building long-lasting, supportive relationships. 💕
What to bring:
A piece of you’re working on and would like feedback on - at any stage of creation. A poem, speech, a song — all audible forms of expression are welcome! Intellectual, musical, meditative, fictional stories.
Bring your instrument if you’re going to perform it, or bring a file if you’re going to play it through the Bluetooth speaker. If you just have lyrics or vocals, you will have the floor to share it with the rest of us
What to expect:
∙ A brief meditation to ground us
∙ Artist introductions - share your artistic story and creative journey, leading up to where you are now.
∙ Paired discussions to connect one-on-one, talk about your piece and get fired up.
∙ Sharing circle (THE MAIN EVENT!) : each person will have 10 minutes to share their song, the story behind it, and how it fits into their artistic journey. Then, they will receive feedback from any artists in the cohort who feel called to speak, using the sandwich method:
∙ What resonated with you (the parts of the piece that moved you, touched your heart and made you glow)
∙ What you’re curious or wondering about (ways the piece might increase it’s potency… How might it be produce? With a band? And electric beat? With string accompaniment? What visuals come to mind? How might someone find this online? Any creative suggestions are wlecome!)
∙ What you’re excited to see metabolize from the song! (Experiences for the audience, full production, live show… the idea is to help inspire people with their own work, and give them the fire to go out there and illuminate the world)
The bigger vision:
This gathering, beyond a one-time thing, is also about gauging interest in a recurring songwriting community where we go deeper together - workshopping songs, exploring home recording, releasing music, playing on each other’s tracks, and potentially collaborating on shows down the line. I’m also considering launching a 6-week cohort class where I help artists build a creative cycle that will allow them record, produce, mix, market, release consistently, to build an audience and share their music with the world for life.
