Unaite x GOSIM - Robotics Hackathon @ Station F
The GOSIM x Unaite Robotics Hackathon is a 48-hour build session focused on Physical AI. Hosted at Station F during GOSIM Paris 2026, the event brings together 10 teams to move beyond simulation and deploy state-of-the-art models on physical hardware.
This is an opportunity to work directly with the OpenArm, a fully open-source 7 DoF humanoid robot arm. The goal is to tackle the open challenges of robotic grasping and manipulation in a real-world environment.
Whether you are an engineer or a hacker, this is your launchpad to build, test, and ship a robotics project within the heart of the French tech ecosystem.
Each team will have access to a complete hardware setup:
7 DoF humanoid arm with 633mm reach.
6kg peak payload and 1kHz CAN-FD control for high-speed responsiveness.
Backdrivable and compliant design for safe human-robot interaction.
Full teleoperation kit provided per team.
100% open-source and compatible with LeRobot, dora-rs, ROS2, MuJoCo, and Isaac Lab.
Challenge
Core Tasks: Picking and placing, pouring liquids, bin picking, cloth manipulation...
Advanced interaction: hand-in-hand grasping, receiving objects from humans...
Logistics
Team: 3-5 people
Preparation: Simulation environments will be available before the physical event for code validation.
Event Access: Participants will have access to the GOSIM conferences from 9:30am until 6:00pm.
Closing Time: Please note that building activities in the venue close at 6:00pm each day.
