Halloween Cinema Club: Peeping Tom (15) - part of The Festival of Community Cinema
Electric Medway Cinema Club presents... Peeping Tom (1960)
🎃 For our Halloween screening, we are delighted to be celebrating Cinema For All's 100 Years of Community Cinema! That means ALL tickets are just £3.00!
And what better way to celebrate this wonderful centenary AND the spooky season with Michael Powell’s groundbreaking Peeping Tom. Originally panned upon release for its controversial subject matter, this psychological horror/thriller soon attracted a cult following and has been re-evaluated as masterpiece.
Starring Carl Boehm, Moira Shearer, Anna Massey and Maxine Audley, the film revolves around a serial killer who murders women while using a portable film camera to record their dying expressions of terror, putting his footage together into a snuff film used for his own self-pleasure.
The evening will begin with an opportunity for you to experience a Virtual Reality (VR) experience using one of our headsets and toasting the Festival with some complimentary cake and drink.
Programme
18:45 Doors open and VR headset experience available

21:15 End (approx.), followed by informal (and optional) post-movie discussion at Wolfe & Castle, 44 High Street, Rochester
