Want to help build the future of medicine? You don't need a biology degree to start.
Join us for a one-day hackathon bringing together people interested in AI, biology, drug discovery, and entrepreneurship to tackle a real challenge in antibody engineering.
Antibodies are one of the most important classes of modern medicines, and increasingly, their design happens on a computer. Running an AI model is the easy part. The real challenge is building computational tools that can produce results a drug discovery team can actually trust.
🧬 What will you build?
During the hackathon, you'll work in teams to build an AI-powered tool tackling a real problem in antibody engineering.
Your agent could, for example:
Improve a measurable property of an antibody
Identify weaknesses or failure modes in existing computational tools
Help automate part of the antibody design workflow
Explore new ways to use AI for computational drug discovery
The goal is simple: build something real, test it, and see how far you can take it in one day.
👩💻 Who can join?
Everyone interested in the intersection of AI and drug discovery is welcome.
You might be:
A programmer or AI/ML researcher
A biology or life science student
A researcher or PhD student
An entrepreneur or biotech enthusiast
Someone coming from a completely different background
No prior experience in AI, antibody engineering, or drug discovery is required.
You can bring your own team, or sign up individually and we'll help you find teammates with complementary skills.

🏆 3,000 USD Prize Pool
There's also something to win.
The 3,000 USD prize pool includes cash prizes supported by Apheris and OpenFold.
And the winning sequences can be experimentally tested in a real laboratory setting by Adaptyv (worth 20,000 USD).
