About Event

How do you go from "cool AI output" to "this is ready for a client"? What does a real AI production pipeline look like when there's a deadline, a budget, and a quality bar that doesn't move?

AI generation models can dramatically speed up early-stage work: rapid concept exploration, fast previs, and low-cost iteration that helps teams discover options before committing. But speed alone doesn't deliver a finished piece. The final result still depends on the human layer: framing decisions that make a shot feel intentional, the character design choices that carry emotion before anyone speaks, and the small environment details that make something feel directed rather than generated.

Colin Brady is a Pixar animation pioneer who served as lead animator and animation director on Toy Story, Toy Story 2, and A Bug's Life. Matt Shih leads creative direction at Floyo. Together they recently produced an animated short.

At this event, they'll screen it and walk through how it was made - what the model accelerated, the creative decisions, the pipeline, the places where direction mattered more than the tools to meet a real production bar.

This isn't just their stage. We're selecting 3-5 attendees to share their own production use cases in short lightning talks. If you've been building real pipelines, you might be one of them.

After the talks, we have something planned that you probably haven't experienced at an industry event before. More on that below.

This is for:

  • Creative professionals

  • Directors, producers, filmmakers, & senior artists integrating AI into active pipelines

What happens:

6:00 PM Arrivals + drinks

6:20 PM Wan talks about their upcoming models

6:30 PM Colin + Matt screen the trailer and walk the room through the production pipeline. What tools they used. Where things broke. Where a director's eye made the difference.

6:50 PM Lightning talks. 3-5 attendees share their own AI production use cases. Selected from applications.

7:05 PM The Game. Everyone in the room participates. You might get called up. You'll make more real connections in 45 minutes than most events manage in three hours. Format stays a surprise.

7:50 PM Open mixer. Drinks, food, conversation with people you've already been introduced to.

About the organizers:

Wan is an advanced AI video and image generation model developed by Alibaba’s Tongyi Lab. It powers text-to-video, text-to-image, image-to-video, and video-to-video workflows used by creators and studios worldwide. The latest version, Wan 2.6, blends text, image, and audio inputs to produce coherent video sequences with narrative flow, character consistency, and synchronized audiovisual output - enabling richer storytelling from prompt to finished clip.

Floyo - the fastest way for teams & creative pros to discover, run, & collaborate on AI workflows for complex creative challenges. Floyo unifies open-source and closed-source models for image, video, audio, 3D and more.

Limited seats. No walk-ins.
