ERINnovation Meetup at CAMS: Where Health Innovation Meets Simulation
Step inside the Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation (CAMS) at NAIT for an interactive evening bringing the Edmonton region’s health innovation ecosystem together in a unique, hands-on environment.
Hosted by CAMS as part of the ERIN Meetup series, the evening will blend informal networking with immersive simulation experiences, healthcare-themed escape rooms, facility tours, and a showcase of innovators from the Medtech Innovation Highway (MIH) program. Connect with entrepreneurs, researchers, healthcare professionals, industry partners, and others helping advance health innovation while exploring how simulation can support the development, testing, and adoption of new ideas and technologies.
The evening will also feature a special announcement officially kicking off the Alberta Medtech Innovation Capacity Building Initiative, led by CAMS at NAIT with support from the ERIN Community Initiatives program. The new initiative will bring Alberta’s medtech innovation community together through a series of workshops and resources designed to strengthen the knowledge, connections, and capacity needed to move health innovations toward commercialization.
Following an informal networking reception and brief welcome from ERIN and NAIT, guests will be invited to explore CAMS, take part in interactive activities and friendly competition, meet health innovators and MIH partners, and make new connections across Edmonton’s vibrant health innovation ecosystem.
