About Event

Join us on Sunday, April 26th for the closing reception of Rooted in Hope, our Earth Month art gallery in the lobby of 10C Shared Space, a hub for community activators and changemakers.

This special event will feature a community art workshop, an open, drop-in experience where attendees can explore art-making and "artivism" together.

Supplies will be provided at various art stations, and you’re also welcome to bring your own crafts* for a relaxed and creative “crafternoon.”

Stations will include:

Stone painting - paint a stone to bring home or leave somewhere!

Collage making - we have lots of National Geographics & glue!

Postcard making - with Sarah aka @EarthCareShow!

Painting with Posca markers - make your own art on upcycled boards & repurposed frames!

Cut paper flower bouquets - make your own paper bouquet using various papers and paints!

Throughout the event, we’ll offer thoughtful prompts to inspire creation and conversation centered on hope, action, and empathy.

Together, we’ll also collaborate on a community banner made from scrap fabrics as a shared expression of these themes.

Enjoy light refreshments while you connect and create. NOTE: Please RSVP so we can plan accordingly and accommodate all dietary needs.

Attendees will also have the chance to win exciting prizes from local businesses, including a fresh flower subscription from Just a Lil Guy, a local microflorist and a print from Stubbs Letter Press.

Happy Earth Month! We hope to see you at the gallery.
