About Event

Join Climate Cafe South Brooklyn on Sunday, October 18, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Marine Park Coffee (3411 Avenue S, Brooklyn) for an afternoon of environmental discussion and creativity! Our monthly Climate Café will take place from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a hands-on upcycling workshop, “From Bottle to Bauble!”, led by Brooklyn-based artist Lenore Solmo from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Learn how to transform repurposed plastic bottles into unique handbag charms or keychains!

This event is free and open to all ages, with all materials provided and complimentary coffee and tea from Marine Park Coffee. Climate Cafe South Brooklyn is a program of the Marine Park Young Adults Association (MPYAA), a recognized 501(c)(4) social welfare nonprofit. RSVP through the Climate Cafe NYC Luma calendar or email climatecafe@marineparkyoungadults.org. We look forward to seeing you there
