Stanford Entrepreneurs: give feedback to 5 tech community organizers

Are online tech communities helpful? What value do they give you for networking, learning, and getting questions asnwered? Join Stanford Entrepreneurs for a virtual event to hear about new communities for start ups, founders, and AI, from their founding community organizers. Learn about anti-algorithm invite only communities, and niche communities at scale. Ask questions, join as beta testers, and tell communities what immediate value you want to see the first time you visit a community. *Ask about opportunities to speak and host events in their communities too.

5 COMMUNITIES:

1. STANFORD ENTREPRENEURS

JZ is Marketing director at Stanford Alumni Entrepreneurs: A Thriving Community of Stanford Founders & Builders. From first-time founders to industry leaders—Stanford Entrepreneurs connects you to the people, insights, and opportunities that fuel success. What We Do: We bring Stanford entrepreneurs together to share ideas, make connections, and accelerate progress. Through events, curated groups, and hands-on opportunities, we help builders learn and grow stronger—at every stage of the journey. Why It Matters: The right community makes all the difference. This is where Stanford founders, builders, and investors find each other, exchange insights, and grow faster—together. It’s a place to plug in, give back, and be part of something bigger. *Must be a Stanford alumn.

What feedback they’re looking for:
Are members looking for co-founders, feedback, advisors? What services are members seeking and offering?

2. TIGHTKNIT

Tightknit is the operating system for running high-impact Slack communities.

We help B2B SaaS companies, creators, and operators turn Slack communities into a growth and engagement engine by delivering the right content where it matters, simplifying event coordination, and boosting member participation through built-in gamification and recognition.

Feedback we are looking for:

We've had success both with larger enterprises (Salesforce, Amplitude), fast-growing mid-market (Gamma, Clay, beehiiv), and a load of smaller customers

Should Tighknit target the enterprise, mid-market, or SMB? We are deciding between:

  1. A PLG motion targeting many small customers

  2. Targeting larger high-value enterprise accounts

3. TWO DEGREES

Two Degrees is a private platform where entrepreneurs can swap skills and expertise within a verified network. It was built by ex-Meta, Amazon, and Google engineers who wanted a curated space that filters out the noise—where every connection is relevant and actionable. Everyone is carefully vetted to ensure there are high-signal matches, with an emphasis on trusted connections and strong domain expertise. They are accepting the next batch of members in Fall 2025. You can apply at https://twodegrees.app.

What feedback they’re looking for:

  • What would make a connection genuinely valuable to you?

  • What would make you more incentivized to share your skills/expertise with other founders?

  • Would you like to browse a large forum of all members, a larger list of potential connections, or a few curated matches?
