About Event

Validate your next idea in a day! Build it, test it, know if it works — before you write a line of production code. Dedicated space at General Assembly!

Build Sprint brings together 10 founders for a structured Friday dedicated to idea validation. You'll go from concept to tested prototype in a single day with foundational support from product, design and growth experts. Build a landing page or lightweight prototype, putting it in front of real people, and walking away with actual user signal on whether your idea is worth pursuing.

Every team gets hands-on access to Seena Labs, an AI research agent that understands what your users are doing and interviews them to get their feedback. Seena Labs gives you insights in the voice of your users using an algorithm built on decades of scientific research from the field of human-computer interaction.

What You Leave With

A live landing page or prototype you can keep testing after the sprint. Real feedback from the people who land on your page from Seena Labs. A sharpened pitch and positioning refined through live feedback. Direct input from specialists in UX research and growth. A peer group of founders who just went through the same process.

Schedule

Here's what to expect from your time with us:

Morning — Learn & Frame (10am–11:30am) - breakfast provided

  • How to structure an idea, communicate its value, and choose a call to action that converts.

  • User research that actually validates ideas — what to measure and where most founders go wrong.

  • Live walkthrough of the Seena Labs: setup, configuration, and capturing insights from day one.

  • Each founder defines their sprint goal: what are they validating, and what does success look like?

Midday — Build (12pm - 3pm) - lunch provided

  • Heads-down building. Each founder creates a landing page, sales page, or lightweight prototype using whatever tool gets them there fastest.

  • On-hand support for sharpening positioning, nailing copy, and structuring pages for conversion.

  • UX and flow guidance ensuring every page is set up to capture the right behavioural signals.

Afternoon — Test & Learn (3pm–4pm)

  • Pages go live. Founders share their pages with each other and send it to any potential users (friends, family, a waiting list, a dedicated group of social media followers) — the room becomes a live testing lab.

  • Behavioral insights captured in real time as real users interact with each page.

  • Each founder presents: what they built, what the data showed, and what they're doing next.

  • Leave with perks of joining the program including 100 credits to Seena Labs and advisory on how to move forward

Who It's For

Founders who have an idea they want to validate — whether it's a new product, a new feature, or a new market. You don't need a finished product. You need a hypothesis and the willingness to test it. This isn't a talk or a networking event — you're going to build something and put it in front of real people.

Your Hosts

Dr. Ax Ali — Human-computer interaction PhD, was product leader at Amazon, Microsoft, and Apple. He is currently the founder of Seena Labs. Ax has published 20+ peer-reviewed papers on AI-powered experiences — from self-adapting interfaces for people with Parkinson's to AI that detects dyslexia in children. He consults for Adobe training enterprise teams on using AI in creative workflows, and has lectured at Carnegie Mellon, Columbia, and Harvard.

Andy Chiang — Product growth and user acquisition, founder of Seeking Leverage. The Seeking Leverage method of growth is to help founders find opportunities of growth that are under utilized.
