Problem Discovery & Idea Generation by Allan Waine

​The best ideas often come from the problems we encounter in our everyday lives, from coursework and research to daily experiences. This session is an introduction to ideation and the starting point for solving real-world problems through innovative thinking.

​During this hands-on workshop, participants will learn practical tools and a proven framework, complete a canvas to strengthen problem-solving skills, and identify ideas worth pursuing. You are welcome to bring a problem you’ve already identified or come ready to discover one.

​About the speaker:

​Allan leads the Student and Founder Development at Edmonton Unlimited. He loves kick-starting ideas, from dreams to programs. He brings experience in not-for-profit and cross-cultural educational leadership. Allan has led workshops around the world and works with founders to scale early stage startups.
