Sydney Von Arx from METR will come in to discuss how METR, a research nonprofit, evaluates frontier AI models for risk. Sydney is currently working as a member of Technical Staff at METR and Co-Founded the Atlas Fellowship. All are welcome, especially those wanting to dip their toes in one of the fundamental areas of technical AI safety!
The talk will occur from 4-6 PM at Hearst Gym 245.
