About Event

📍 1 Triton Square, London NW1 3BF

Driverless vehicles will arrive on British roads this year, with Europe's first commercial robotaxi services launching within months. The implications stretch far beyond the core areas of transport and safety, impacting work, productivity, privacy, city planning, accessibility, and security across the UK.

The Institute for Driverless Transport (IfDT) is launching to kickstart this conversation. They exist to ensure the UK can swiftly and confidently deploy this transformative technology while actively mitigating risks like large-scale job displacement and new security threats. Their mission is to work with policymakers, businesses, and communities to prepare them for what comes next.

Join us to hear from those who are already involved in shaping the rollout, and to participate in four focused workshops on: Productivity, Social Impact, Job Displacement and Security.

This event brings together those who are likely to be affected first, so they can meet, learn, connect and agree to work together to make the arrival of driverless vehicles a benefit to them, whoever they may be.

Join our expert speakers and meet others interested in the space, to begin shaping the future of driverless transport and its impact on the UK.
