SpecFirst: Designing AI Native Solutions with Spec-driven Development
Ready to explore architecture in the AI era? Curious about how to design and develop AI-native solutions?
Join us for a future-proofing, in-person session where we’ll:
Explore spec-driven development — what it is, why it matters, and how it strengthens AI-native solution.
Best practices for developing with AI modules — from steering and prompting to avoiding common pitfalls.
A hands-on lab exploring agentic coding using Tessl + OpenAI, giving you practical experience in AI-native development.
Whether you’re an architect, engineer, or innovator, you’ll walk away with fresh insights and real-world techniques to make your architecture practice forward compatible.
Agenda:
Workshop: A hands-on workshop series introducing architects to the spec-driven development paradigm, showing how to guide LLM models to create software projects in a specification centric way, then applying the approach in a project using Tessl products and framework.
Setup & Tools: Participants should bring a laptop, ideally with Node/Tessl installed, plus the environment they plan to build in (e.g. Java + Maven for a Java app). They’ll also need their preferred agent installed (Claude, Codex, Gemini, etc.). This should be sufficient to get the most out of the session.
Guests Speakers: Guest speakers will showcase practical insights, share inspiring stories and real-world strategies to help you reimagine and elevate your approach to solution design in the age of AI.
