DIY pants modifications! Let's try to wear better pants in 2026.
Bring a pair of pants / jeans that already fit you well, but feel kinda boring.
We'll look at altered pants inspo together and discuss how it's made: faux cyanotype, creative patchwork, hand-painted jeans, pocket embellishments, and cutouts.
PANTS PARTY. We'll do our own pants mods. We'll have fabric paint, bleach, embroidery thread, a sewing machine, an iron, and some thrifted fabric scraps to share. You can even swap the bottom half of your jeans with someone else's.
Try to bring denim, cotton, or non-synthetic pants, as the art supplies we're getting will work better.
If you need to try anything on, there's bathroom space to change. Or wear leggings underneath if you'll be taking them on and off and don't want to be pantsless in an art gallery.
