Join us for a special onstage conversation with Roland Lescure, France's Minister for the Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty. This event will include a dynamic discussion on the international sustainable AI landscape, its challenges, and the potential paths forward.

Speaker: Roland Lescure is France’s Minister for the Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty. A graduate of École Polytechnique, ENSAE and the London School of Economics, he began his career at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance before holding senior positions in the financial sector, including at Natixis Asset Management, Groupama Asset Management and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). He was elected to the French National Assembly in 2017, representing French citizens living in North America, and chaired the Assembly’s Economic Affairs Committee. He has held several ministerial positions since 2022, with responsibilities spanning industry, energy and economic policy.

Host: Alexandre Bayen is the director of CITRIS and the Banatao Institute, professor of electrical engineering and computer sciences at the University of California, Berkeley.
