​Speaker: Roland Lescure is France’s Minister for the Economy, Finance, and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty. A graduate of École Polytechnique, ENSAE and the London School of Economics, he began his career at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance before holding senior positions in the financial sector, including at Natixis Asset Management, Groupama Asset Management and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ). He was elected to the French National Assembly in 2017, representing French citizens living in North America, and chaired the Assembly’s Economic Affairs Committee. He has held several ministerial positions since 2022, with responsibilities spanning industry, energy and economic policy.
