Wing People Presents: Unleash Your Inner Artist
This is the event that launched Wing People in 2023. It sparked friendships, unlocked creativity, and became a little bit legendary. Now we are bringing it back. Bigger. Braver. And with a beautiful new purpose.
This year we are supporting Barncancerfonden through an entry fee and a charity art auction, in honour of Team Rynkeby Stockholm as they bike all the way to Paris to raise funds for children with cancer.
About Team Rynkeby
Team Rynkeby is a European charity cycling team made up of everyday heroes who train all year and then bike from Sweden to Paris to raise money for children with cancer and their families. Every kilometre, every sponsor, and every donation supports vital research and the work of Barncancerfonden. It is compassion in motion, powered by community.
You create. You connect. You contribute. That is the Wing People way.
What Happened Last Time
Guests walked in nervous and walked out glowing. Some still talk about it. Some still have the friends they made that night. Some still blame you, lovingly, for unlocking their inner artist.

Unleash Your Inner Artist invites you to create something, share it, see it displayed in a gallery, meet incredible humans, and support a powerful cause.
You are not just attending. You are one of the artists.
Your art can be absolutely anything that means something to you.
New For This Year: The Charity Art Auction
If you would like to, you can choose to auction off your piece during the event.
This is completely voluntary. You decide if your work is included. You set the starting bid.
All the auction proceeds will be donated to Barncancerfonden in support of Team Rynkeby Stockholm’s charity drive for Barncancerfonden.
This is creativity with impact.

Time: 18:00 to 22:00
(And yes, the night continues at a second venue.)
Entry Fee: All the net proceeds will be donated to Barncancerfonden in support of Team Rynkeby Stockholm’s charity drive for Barncancerfonden.
New This Year: Guests Welcome
For the first time, we are also opening the doors to a small number of external guests who simply want to experience the magic.
These guests are welcome to attend the gallery, meet the artists, enjoy the evening, and participate in the charity auction.
Not everyone needs to bring art to be part of the moment. Some people come to create. Others come to witness, celebrate, and support the artists in the room.
If you have a friend who would love the atmosphere, the creativity, or the cause, they are warmly welcome to join as a guest.
Every ticket still contributes to Barncancerfonden and supports Team Rynkeby Stockholm on their ride to Paris.

What To Expect
A gallery built entirely from the art created by the people in the room.
The kind of conversations you do not usually have at the start of an event.

What Is Art And What Counts As Art
Art is anything you create that expresses something true, meaningful, or interesting to you. It does not need to be perfect. It does not need to be professional. It does not need to impress anyone. It simply needs to come from you.
Art can be visual. Art can be emotional. Art can be messy, playful, serious, colourful, chaotic, quiet, or beautifully simple.
If it carries a feeling, a story, a memory, a spark of joy, or even a moment of silliness, it counts.
Here are examples that absolutely qualify as art:

If you have an idea, it counts.
If you are unsure, it counts.
If you think it is too small or too weird, it definitely counts.
You are the artist. Your creation is enough.
Deadlines And Practical Bits
After registering you will receive a welcome email with a form to complete before art drop off.
Art Drop Off:
Friday March 27th from 13:00 to 18:00
Your art must be display ready. Framed, mounted, or creatively presentable.
If a deadline slips, breathe. Just keep us updated.
Rules

• No job talk at the start
• Zero judgement
• Charity auction participation is optional

Food And Drink
Light snacks will be provided.
Please bring your own drinks and take home whatever is left.
After The Event
If your piece is not auctioned, adopted, or claimed by a new admirer, please collect it or arrange a pickup.
