A Countryside Coworking Day: Pre-Italian Tech Week Edition
For those arriving in Turin a day early for Italian Tech Week, we're hosting a relaxed coworking day at a restored historic village on a hilltop overlooking the Alps. It’s an opportunity to escape the city, find a calm space for focused work, and connect with other attendees before the main event kicks off.
This pop-up coworking day is a special edition of a regular gathering we host for remote workers. The goal is simple: provide a beautiful and productive environment with good Wi-Fi, great food, and interesting people. There is no formal agenda, just a space to work and connect authentically.
The Space & Atmosphere
The venue, The Workation Village, is a former castle with origins dating back to the 10th century. You’ll find a unique blend of late Baroque and Neoclassical architecture, with many rooms retaining their original historic character. We will have several quiet areas set up for working, all with reliable Wi-Fi. The atmosphere is calm, comfortable, and deeply rooted in its surroundings.
Food & Connection
At midday, we will break for a shared lunch. The on-site trattoria will prepare a generous vegetarian buffet featuring specialties made with ingredients from local suppliers. This meal is a great moment to pause, enjoy authentic Italian food, and have informal conversations.
Practical Details
Contribution: A fee of €20 per person covers the full day of coworking and the vegetarian lunch buffet. Payment is collected on-site at the restaurant.
Location: The village is located a 45-minute drive from Turin. We recommend an early start for a smoother journey.
Carpooling: To make getting there easier, we encourage attendees to carpool. We will create a WhatsApp group for registered participants to coordinate shared rides. Please write me a PM for more details.
Who Is This For?
This day is for any Italian Tech Week attendee—founders, creatives, developers, and investors—who wants a peaceful start to the week. It’s ideal for international visitors curious to see the Piedmontese countryside or for anyone who values connecting with peers in a setting without pressure or pretense.
