AI & Climate: Conversations with Nonprofit Leaders
About This Event
This session is for nonprofit leaders who are using AI or are considering it and want space to work through what that means for their organization, their community relationships, and their environmental commitments.
Join us on Saturday, April 25, from 10 to 11:30 am during SF Climate Week for a peer-driven conversation on AI's climate impact and what it means for nonprofit leaders making AI decisions.
Fast Forward will open with a short presentation on AI's energy tradeoffs and what the data shows. From there, the room takes over. Expect a presentation, small group discussions, and general networking. The goal is to leave with an honest read on AI's environmental impact and enough clarity to make decisions for your own organization.
Insights from this session will feed directly back into Fast Forward's public tools and resources.

Who Should Attend
Any nonprofit leader or staff member who has thought about AI's environmental impact as part of their organization's decision-making. You don't need to work in the climate sector. If the question is on your radar, you belong in this room.
RSVPs are reviewed to keep the conversation focused on nonprofits. Priority goes to nonprofit leaders and staff actively navigating these questions.
