TapTV Arena touches down in Akihabara for an offline, closed-door creation sprint where some of Japan's most ambitious AI creators go from idea to finished film — on the clock, in one room. This is the fourth stop on the TapTV Arena global tour, and the first built around Japan's AI animation community.
Over 36 hours at UDX Gallery Next, 30 selected teams will use TapNow.ai, Seedance 2, and other AI creative tools to produce an original animated short of 180 seconds or longer.

The challenge
Every team works to a shared theme and ships a complete, original short within the 36-hour window. No remote handoffs, no extended timelines — just creators, tools, and a real deadline, testing what an end-to-end AI animation workflow can do under pressure.

What you'll need
Teams bring their own laptops and any creative equipment they need to work on site.
How to join
Submit your application with your team name, member info, social accounts, portfolio links, AI creation experience and contact details.
Selected teams receive Tapies creative credits, access to pre-event online workshops (with replays), a dedicated Discord channel, technical support, and creative resources. Final selection and full event rules are confirmed directly by the organizers.

TapTV Arena がいよいよ秋葉原に上陸。オフライン・非公開形式の制作スプリントとして、日本でもっとも意欲的なAIクリエイターたちが、同じ空間に集い、限られた時間の中でアイデアから完成作品までを一気に作り上げます。本イベントはTapTV Arena グローバルツアーの第4弾の開催であり、日本のAIアニメーションコミュニティに焦点を当てた初めての回となります。
会場となる UDX Gallery Next にて、選出された30チームが36時間をかけ、TapNow.ai をはじめとするAIクリエイティブツールを駆使し、180秒以上のオリジナルアニメーション作品を制作します。

チャレンジ内容
全チームが共通のテーマに取り組み、36時間という制限時間内に、オリジナル作品を仕上げていただきます。リモートでの引き継ぎや期限の延長は一切ありません。クリエイター、ツール、そして本物の締め切り——プレッシャーの中で、AIアニメーション制作の一連のワークフローでどこまでやれるのかを試す場です。
