We’re kicking off the year with something special.

Our member Rafael Campos will walk us through how to build an AI tutor that guides networking students in real time as they configure routers and switches inside an interactive simulator.
Instead of giving answers away, this intelligent agent adapts to each student’s level — coaching, nudging, and accelerating learning through contextual reasoning.
We’ll explore the architecture behind the system, built using the Claude Agent SDK, and unpack how agentic AI can transform technical education into a personalized, hands-on experience.

About Rafael Campos
Rafael is a technology leader with over 20 years of experience as an engineer, instructor, consultant, and entrepreneur. He co-founded Altus in 2007, growing it from a small startup into an award-winning Cisco Solution Partner before its acquisition in 2022. His recent work focuses on emerging technologies such as Web3 and Zero Knowledge Proofs, where he has earned hackathon awards and secured support from the Mina Foundation. In 2023, he co-founded Vixus Labs, a startup exploring mixed reality to seamlessly blend physical and virtual environments. Rafael is passionate about building innovative learning and technology solutions that push the boundaries of how people interact with complex systems.
