Player One: Game Dev Movie Night is a social-educational bonding event organized by the Sunway Game Development Club. The event is designed to help club members connect in an informal setting while sharing a common interest in games, technology, and storytelling. Through a group movie screening and light post-film discussion, the event creates a relaxed environment where new and existing members can interact, exchange ideas, and build stronger relationships within the club.
The film Ready Player One serves as a familiar and engaging backdrop that naturally encourages conversation around gaming culture, virtual worlds, and player experiences. To enhance the cinema-style experience, complimentary refreshments will be provided, including popcorn and drinks, so participants can enjoy the evening comfortably while networking with fellow enthusiasts.
