About Event

Most people using Claude don't know Skills exist. Those who do haven't spent time building their own. That's where a lot of the leverage is hiding.

Skills let you teach Claude how you work. They turn generic AI into something that knows your tools, your formats, your standards. For individuals, this means less repeating yourself. For teams, it means consistent output across people.

Mikkel Freltoft Krogsholm joins us as guest presenter. Mikkel presented on Skills at the Copenhagen Claude Meetup and made the case that building your own Skills is what takes you from Claude user to Claude conductor.

The session runs in two tracks. One for Cowork (Claude's desktop and web interface). One for Claude Code (terminal). Pick the one that fits how you work. Both tracks are hands-on. You'll build your own Skills during the session.

At the end, we come back together. Participants show what they built. We learn from each other.

Online. Capped at 100 participants.

Who it's for

Builders, product people, strategists, team leads, and anyone who uses Claude regularly and wants to get more out of it. The Cowork track works for non-developers. The Claude Code track is for those comfortable in the terminal.

What you'll walk away with

  • Working Skills you built yourself during the session

  • A clear understanding of what Skills are and why they matter

  • Practical experience with either Cowork or Claude Code (your choice)

  • Techniques for making Claude consistent across your workflows

  • Ideas from seeing what other participants built in the show and tell

  • Connections with builders in the Applied Futures community
