CTOs at Scale (NYC): Avoiding AI Slop
ONLY for CTOs (and VPE's/Heads of Engineering) at companies with ~100+ engineers.
CTOs at Scale CTOs is an invite only community for CTOs/VPEs running larger orgs. CTOs at Scale is a Gather.dev community, curated by Peter Bell.
Ever wished you could get in a room with your closest peers running larger orgs for frank discussions on how to improve the impact of your engineering org? Join us on Wednesday January 28th at 8am for our monthly CTOs at Scale breakfast in NYC.
The good news is that LLMs can write code. The bad news is often the quality of the code that they ship. How can we avoid just shifting the bottleneck from writing code to reviewing it? This month we’ll be looking at what is and isn’t working when we move from augmented to agentic engineering.
Bring your challenges, your questions and your experiments. What have you tried? What does and doesn’t work? We’ll have a couple of folks share their learnings and experiences before breaking out into groups to discuss what we’re learning about accelerating software development using agentic tools.
Join us at 8am at 28th and Park to grab a bite and meet other CTOs running larger orgs. At 8.30 we’ll start the hour long facilitated boardroom discussion and at 9.30 we have the board room for another half hour to continue the conversation before we wrap at 10am.
We’re grateful to our partners at Primary Ventures and Engineer Access for supporting this conversation.
